For the last 4 days I have had pain in one tooth on the far back of my lower jaw. I have tried mouth wash, brushing, and even a good old swirl of whisky around the sore area.

I have a pretty high pain thresh hold, the pain is more of an inconvenience than a "dear god will someone put me out of my misery" pain. but a pain none the less.

I am still registered with a dentist in my old town, but cant really be bothered with going back....

Any advice, home remedies would be greatly appreciated!
