dental bridge

Hi, Can a dentist on here please tell me if it is something a dentist can do to remove a dental bridge for me, without an orthodontists' order?? - Because my open bite has opened MORE- to intolerable- right at this fake tooth's spot. I've had many consults with orthodontists all of whom say they'll "have the removing the bridge first, then treatment" because I cannot afford orthodontic care, need to get rid of my open bite for health reasons- pain and breathing difficulty- and if only I did not have this unnecessary fake tooth in here I could push my own teeth back closer with orthofit bands like shown on utubes how to do- not with loss of a lot of money going into debt and not suffer these needless symptoms. Yes?
They might answer in an appointment but I want to have some backup here and I think I deserve access to this freedom from my fake tooth, stupidly put in unforeseeing.
