Can over use of mouthwash's cause burning in throat / roof of mouth
for about 6 weeks i have had a mild burning in the back of my throat and a bit on the roof of my mouth / tongue.
i was wondering if it could be likely to be from over use of mouthwash's, i sometimes brush and use a mouthwash like corsodyl 3 times a day.
my gp originaly thought it maybe acid reflux, but i have been on tablets for a month now and hadn't noticed any difference.
In the last 2 days i have started watering down my mouthwash, only using it twice a day and also gargling warm salt water, the burning sensation has already gone much more milder than before, i think doing this has seemed to have helped what ever the issue has been, although its not gone totaly yet.
Could i be right about the over use?
