| post submandibular gland excision question
i went on to get cervical lymph node biopsy and in the process the surgeon also removed my submandibular gland , results came as reactive lymph node and mild sialadenitis for gland , lymph node incision has healed but not the gland one . i still have swelling even after 12 days of operation . last night i had watery discharge from the incision site and the swelling went down , now the discharge stopped and the swelling is again increasing .
what is the reason and what has to be done ?
also along the jawline my skin is numb , when will it recover ??
