| Wisdom Tooth extracted, profuse bleeding 10 days later!
Has anyone else encountered this? Everything seemed fine after my wisdom tooth extraction, but after 10 DAYS I suddenly started profusely bleeding (gushing) from the site. Got it to stop eventually but it happened again 24 hours later and it was really difficult to stop that time. My oral surgeons office was closed this weekend (of course) so saw my dentist who said the site looks fine and an X-ray didn't show any left over bone or anything. He also said not infected! My jaw line is swollen but not much pain, just sore. Eating only soft foods. Anyone else experience this? I'm confused, frustrated and worried it will start gushing again for no reason. I also have no explanation except it "isn't normal".
