melissag35 Newbie (female) Join Date: Sep 2012 Location: Laguna Niguel, CA Posts: 1	Still numb after dental work 6 days ago I had a root canal 6 days ago. The Endodontist gave me the shots really quick and it was painful. I still have numbness in my lower lip left side and partially in my gums. Does anyone know if the numbness will go away? I was told by the dentist that it should go away soon. I have to go back for more work but I really dont want to now. The other root canal is on the other side. I dont want my whole lower lip to be numb.
