Replacing Cerec crown after root canal

Can a Cerec crown be removed without damaging a tooth after a root canal has been done through the crown? There isn't a lot of tooth structure left for the tooth and it might still have a crack. Or would it better to just place a filling in the existing crown?

Re: Replacing Cerec crown after root canal

The reason the root canal was done through a hole in the crown in the first place is because of that. Yes, have a filling put in, and keep your crown intact.
