| Can ultrasonic scaling remove resin composite material...?
Thanks to everyone for helping me on my previous post. Here I have a followup inquiry.
I'm having shallow resin composites replaced on three molars and I would like to avoid any drilling if possible. Someone told me that ultrasonic scaling can remove the old resin composite material, and that this method actually leaves the enamel and dentin unharmed. Can anyone confirm?
I plan to ask my dentist to use the ultrasonic tip instead of a bur.
Thanks so much!!!!
John
