extraction tooth#30 with bone graft

had that procedure on Wednesday; i am worried that anything I do can loosen the bone graft since it takes time to stabilize. i chew on the other side; I am just wondering what i can and can't do with a bone graft for the next week until i see the dentist. i worry that if i rinse my mouth to vigrorously the graft will loosen. Thanks in advance

Re: extraction tooth#30 with bone graft

I just had it done about 3 weeks ago. My dentist inserted a membrane that keeps the graft inside. I can see the membrane in the mirror and it is very securely attached so there is no way a graft can dislodge. Frankly, I am doing everything and it does not seem to disturb the graft. I was also worried about it but it's fine. Your will be fine too, as long as the membrane has not come out.
