Orthognatic Surgery anyone?
I have a skeletal Class III occlusion (but my teeth/bite is normal), and the dr talked about surgery. I also have TMJ. I read about some surgery and it seems it has really high risks of numbness and other complications post-surgery....

was wondering if anybody had this and would like to share experiences. thank you

An acquaintance of mine had the surgery and she had a numb chin for about 9 months to a year, but it did eventually feel all better.

I understand...but unfortunately there's no way to be absolutely certain that it won't be forever. Makes saying "yes" to this surgery a tough one.
