I'm in quite a lot of pain under a front crowned tooth
its a throbbing pain and its been there all day,am struggling to understand what the pain could be ? the crowns are very old and from what I can remember the nerves were removed when I had the crowns done ( even though it was 25yrs ago I remember it being an awful experience and doesn't help I am a major wimp and petrified of the dentist and barely get myself there for a check up let alone anything else
,it may help to say I have had some pain in another part of the mouth the other week and the dentist put me on antibiotics as he said he thought there could have been a gum infection as he took an xray and couldn't see anything prior to going to the dentist and a few days of salt water mouth washes it eased by 50% and that pain went after nearly a week and now this,I'm still on antibiotics at the moment and just sooooo hoping they work for this ! any thoughts please.
