| Please help- Oral Pain after vomiting stomach acid
I know this was my own fault...but i'm scared, in a huge amount of pain, and before I go to the doctor, I'd like to know if this has happened to anyone here besides myself.
Last Sunday, I woke up early and vomited after excessive alcohol intake the night before. But all I vomited was yellow bile due to eating very little the day before.
The stomach acid burned my throat, palate and gums very badly. And for the last 5 days, I haven't been able to sleep due to the pain in the back of my throat, and my teeth. My teeth are extremely sensitive now to anything I drink, cold or warm, and I feel like I have a constant ice cream headache.
I'm going to a clinic today because I have no family doctor (recently moved to where I am now).
Is this a normal thing when throwing up stomach acid. The pain is yet to go away. I can't eat or sleep and it's starting to scare. any help would be great. thanks.
