Name of White Cream Used to Mark Denture Pain Spots
Greetings, I am looking for the name of the white, minty tasting cream that dentists paint on the inside of a denture prior to having the patient put the denture in their mouth for the purpose of marking high spots on the inside of the denture that are causing pain. It is sort of like toothpaste and will mark where the hard plastic denture is hitting the gums too hard thus causing pain. The dentist then removes the denture and grinds that marked spot so the denture will stop hurting. My dentist has never heard of this white paste buy my old denturist used it with great success. Thank you.
