| Another Root Canal
Have had several or more RCT in the past. Some were good some went bad. I had two RCTs recommended last summer. One was done and now I wonder if I should have this other one done or extracted. This tooth is next to my eye tooth. I have intermittent pain throbbing at times, sensitivity to heat and cold or pressure which radiates to the eye tooth also. This tooth also has a large cavity hole in it up into the gum line and I can move this tooth back and forth slightly. The color of this area is greyish looking. I can literally dig food out of this hole at the gumline, which I try not to do, I use floss . I made an appointment w/the endo on Wed. and I am wondering if I should have it taken out or chance having the RCT. This is a small tooth probably w/one canal. I have lost so much money in the past to RCTs and just feel why spend the extra money. I know one thing and that is I have to do something..Any ideas? Thx.
