I really like that we have a chance to share what's worked for us, and thought I'd add my 2 cents' here. All of these can be combined and used with meds:

1. Acupuncture and Reflexology (yes it works for moods)
I think it's mainly the Governor Vessel that is for depression

2. Massage
Choose an MT who really enjoys their work; they will touch you with love and caring and it makes a huge difference

3. St. John's Wort
Organic like Solaray brand seems to be much more effective. I don't think you can use this if you're on birth control, though.

4. Healing Music
I am so a fan of this!

5. Essential Oils
Young Living is my favorite brand, especially White Angelica and Rose. You don't have to wear them or put them under your tongue, you can put them in a distiller or in the bath water. Keep them in the refrigerator and they'll last for months.

6. Vibrational Remedies
Pegasus Products is I think by far the best, I've used other brands with no results but these are great. They have a couple of combinations for depression. One bottle lasts about 3-4 weeks. They're stabilized and preserved with a drop of brandy so if you need to they will make them up for you with glycerine instead, but you have to keep it (glycerine) refrigerated.
