Zoloft Sexual Side Effects Just The Opposite
I just got Zoloft from my doctor. I read where it can descrease your sex drive like Prozac and Lexapro, which they did to me. But this stuff is acting like Viagra for me. The 1st couple of days I can't get enough. Anyone else have this happen to them on Zoloft. I understand everyone reacts differently, but if other SSRI's killed my sex drive, what makes Zoloft different.

zoloft is basicly a prozac type or SSRI med but each brand can be different in its effectiveness and side effects

antidepressants can alter the sex drive, usually reducing it, but occasionally increasing it for both men and women

sometimes a slight reduction for men is actually appreciated by the partner

I have been on many antidepressants over the years including Zoloft and none of them affected my sex drive one way or another. It's really amazing how drugs affect people so differently.
