Question How long for libido return after quitting an SSRI (Lexapro)?
Hello! I'm happy to say that I have been off Lexapro for 2 weeks today and I am doing much better (after a hellish withdrawal). I'm still feeling withdrawal symptoms but no where near as bad as before. It seems as though my original depression symptoms are not returning.

My question: When will my sex drive return? 2 years of these meds (first Effexor, then Lexapro) have absolutely killed my sex drive and I really want it back (so does my husband). Does anyone have anyexperience with this? How long did it take for your sex drive to return?

I wish I could answer you. I am in the process of weaning off paxil and wondering the same thing. I hope it comes back soon, I miss it!!!! :-)

I was on Lexapro for a few months, and then I lost my meds one day and I didn't get a refill at the drugstore.
I was suddenly all over my bf after about a week.

I stopped taking effexor recently - I had been on it for about 4 months - and within days of finishing weaning off them my sex drive was back and a was ready to go!! Much to my boyfriends delight!!
