I have been diagnosed with endo. I am taking lupron shots which have side effects of irritability and moodiness. I also have depression because of weight problems. My regular doc gave me wellbutrin 150mg for the depression and my gyn doc gave me xanax for the irritability. Is it okay to take both of these together. Also, if my depression stems from weight problems, will the wellbutrin make me gain more weight.(which defeats the purpose)?
T-Bone, I don't know the answer to the combination of the drugs Q. However, your pharmacist can give you a quick answer to that one. Only in the last couple of yrs has it dawned on me that it might be a good idea to provide my GP w/ a list of drugs other docs have me on. You might want to do that, too. As to Wellbutrin, I think the majority of users find that, if anything, it causes them to lose weight! Good luck! Fox
