Just wanted to say hello
Hello. I've just signed on to this board, but have been passively reading the posts for a while. I'm 23 and have been depressed ever since elementary school. This couple of months have been a ravenously dark; I couldn't sleep, eat, or concentrate. After this hellish period in grad school, I moved back to live in my childhood home. I can understand Man Apart's description of having a starving heart; I too suffer the loneliness and lies that partner with depression. How does one cope with these feelings before they're consumed?

Hi & welcome. Have you been on any meds for depression or counselling?

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say hello to, I have been depressed for a while now and just want to get back to being me. I got in a accident was in the hospital for two months and in bed for 5 months, I am trying to get better but no matter what I am sad, or cry easy, or get in fights with my husband who I love so very much, he just tells me to deal with it, because he doesnt know how to handle it or me, I am sick and have a lot of health problems and I tthink he feels he cant help me, I just wish he would listen to me!
