You guys are killing me (no pun intended either)
All I can say is you better be extra careful Fox when I get out of prison and you are in NYC ***Billy Joking***
Not even CBT or the Obitz book will be much use in that situation

Hope you and index both have a great Easter, Passover or whatever

P.S. This post was originally rejected because I used to many smilie type icons! No one ever told me there was a limit?

Pay up, Foxbluff! (just kidding...)

Thanks for making me right, Billy! I *LOVE* to be right - hmmm, maybe I better do a thought-error-analysis on that... No, that's a feeling; don't have to do feelings. Okay, "I have to be right or I'm a failure" - there's a thought to TEA... LOL!

Happy Easter!

You've made my day! Letters from prison, huh? I've never considered that one! So far, all I've been worried abt here is one I suspect is more psychotic than depressed....(that'll keep you guessing Happy Easter or whatever to you too!

This has got to be the first time I've ever been happy to lose!!! I want you to know that I'm not the kind of person that makes bets w/out planning to collect or pay up. As luck would have it, the Health Brds won't allow me to pay you...Sooo, I owe you one. I'm real sorry abt that, but relieved at the idea that people in prison and possible psychotics can't find me either!

Happy Easter or whatever to you, too!

No need to thank me as I was just being true to myself and you called it right Best part is it sounds like you already have a great understanding of the tools based on your analysis in your note If you need help countering that last thought "I have to be right or I'm a failure" let me know
Hope you had a happy Easter as well; as usual I binged without purging

Billy

You know, I'm thinking of starting a thread for CBT users to help each other with countering these negative thoughts. Which board do you think has the most users - depression, mental health, panic, or stress?

{PS. Glad to "see" you! I wasn't sure how the thread condemning the recommendation of Obitz's book was going to effect you.)

Great idea I'm not sure which one would be best to start that on though I think the depression and Stress boards are probably the most active. Maybe you can pick one board and then put a note on the other boards alerting people to it? Kind of like starting our own group on the boards

Good to see you too I didn't take the question personally so it did not bother me at all. I looked at it as an opportunity to explain why I like the Obitz book best I didn't even have to use a TEA form on my thoughts when I saw it

Billy
