I'm not on paxil, I'm on wellbutrin SR....the 150 mgs did nothing for me, so my doctor uped it to 300mgs a day....it took at least 3 weeks before it started helping...my doctor also gave me alprazolam to take until the wellbutrin fully kicks in...it has helped, but it's quite addictive. My doctor has me seeing a counselor now too..he sensed there was trouble in my life, and he was definitely right, once he found out what I was living with he filled my prescription for alprazolam until Sept. It's hard for the doctors to know how to help you if they don't know the whole story....it looks like we'll be uping my wellbutrin dosage one more time as well...it does take a long time though.
