Unhappy how long for full effecct?

Hello

I have been on paxil for serveral months at 25mgs 1 week ago my doctor upped my dose to 50. Ok so far i have not noticed that much of a differance just a little differance. I was wondering how long will it take for the full effect of this higher dose to kick in?

Re: how long for full effecct?

I'm not on paxil, I'm on wellbutrin SR....the 150 mgs did nothing for me, so my doctor uped it to 300mgs a day....it took at least 3 weeks before it started helping...my doctor also gave me alprazolam to take until the wellbutrin fully kicks in...it has helped, but it's quite addictive. My doctor has me seeing a counselor now too..he sensed there was trouble in my life, and he was definitely right, once he found out what I was living with he filled my prescription for alprazolam until Sept. It's hard for the doctors to know how to help you if they don't know the whole story....it looks like we'll be uping my wellbutrin dosage one more time as well...it does take a long time though.
