Prozac vs lexapro
 

Hello Im new here Im 26 yrs old I was on prozac 20mg/day for a few yrs after that long you can imagine its time for a dosage check or new medication my Dr put me on 10mg/day lexapro if I dont like it we will go back to prozac at a higher dose, those who have experienced both could ya tell me if this is a good change or bad? Now everyone responds diff to each medication, just looking for a general Idea or opinions. I take them for anxiety depression and compulsiveness...................

I think I've heard Lexapro has a more sedative effect. It's supposed to have fewer side-effects than other SSRIs.

Why are you changing? Did the Prozac stop working?
