ADs approved for those with former EDs

Hey all.. Not sure where to post this, but you all seem to be the authority on Ads, so here we go...
Last week my doctor was going to prescribe me Wellbutrin for this all-encompasing fatigue & other strain of symptoms I've had for the past 4 months which can't seem to be identified as anything as of yet. When asking me some routine questions I happened to mention I used to have an ED. She immediately said nevermind, Wellbutrin's not approved for you then. Does anyone know of anything that is approved & that helps with energy so I can bring it up at my next appt? Thanks in advance to your responses, Casey*

Re: ADs approved for those with former EDs

Hi Casey,
Welcome to the boards!

I don't know of an AD to recommend for someone with and ED. Have you tried posting on the ED boards? I am not trying to put you off but I wanted to give you that option too. I also wanted to reply so your post will be moved to the front again in case someone else has some advice to help you.

Best wishes,
Sam

Not sure what ED stands for (Eating Disorder? Extra Dangly-thing-in-the-back-of-your-throat? Earwax Deficit?), but your doctor didn't have any suggestions? That seems like something she ought to be able to help you with. I mean, this is a great place for you to ask, you're doing the right thing to do your own research... I'm just thinking your doctor ought to have tried a little harder.
