sleeping all the time

I just started Paxil last week.
Does it make anyone else sleep all day?
I go to bed about midnight, get up at 8. Then nap from 9-noon. This is not right! The Paxil was supposed to help me.

Re: sleeping all the time

Hi! I am from the midwest too. I think it is the current change-of-season. It is making everyone sleepy. Do you feel well-rested after you nap? I may take a nap today as well.

Re: sleeping all the time

No I still feel terrible after sleeping all morning. The season isn't changing here yet. It's still 85 outside! and muggy. I'm ready for some cooler weather.

Re: sleeping all the time

It may be the quality of sleep you are getting. This is my problem. I go to bed with too many worries (try to meditate an hour before sleep). Sometimes I am too tense (sometimes PMR= Progressive Muscle Relaxation helps). Exercise is allways good (just not too soon before bed). Many other things contribute (caffeine, foods, too many liquids, etc.).

I don't know of too many other solutions yet. We will have to keep experimenting. Have you ever tried creative visualization?
