| Anyone starting zoloft?
Hi everyone-
I was wondering if anyone is just starting zoloft. I have taken it for a few years myself and it has worked wonderfully for me. However my husband recently became depressed and was prescribed a low dose of zoloft.He started at 25 mg for a week and just bumped up to 50 mgs. Unfortunately I don't remember enough about when I started taking zoloft, and I know it effects everyone differently. He is exhibiting some weird symptoms since he started this. I know it doesn't reach full effect for a few weeks or even months, but I am worried. He almost seems more depressed since starting it and is acting a little bizarre. Has anyone had zoloft effect them this way, so quickly? I know it can effect young people negatively, but we are both in our 40's. Should I wait it out another week or so, or have him call his doctor? It is very hard to get him to talk about what he is feeling, and I think this is all so new to him he doesn't know what he SHOULD be feeling, so I feel like I am flying blind. Any input would be appreciated.
