How much does Zoloft cost? - Depression Message Board

When I was on Effexor I paid between $80-$90 for 30 150mg pills.
When you think that is under $3.00 a day it does not sound so bad
But many of you know I am trying hard to save for a place to live.
Plus I did not think it worked too well for me.

Also as you may know I have hear second hand that my mother wants to put me in jail for not taking medication. The psychologist has not said too much, but I always get the sense that they are urging me to be on something.

I feel a lot of pressure to do something, so I have decided to do a trial for an experimental drug or to go on Zoloft again. Anyone familiar with what the total cost of 200mg would be?

Hi ff,

If my mind serves me correctly. I think I read on another post on a different message board that with no insurance a months supply of Zoloft cost this person $86.00. Don't quote me, I'm just going by memory, which I don't have much of these days

If you buy it in the generic form (Zoloft is the brand name), it's much less expensive.

I am pretty sure that there is no generic for Zoloft yet
But correct me if I am wrong?

But you did give me a good idea
If all I want to do is get my mother and therapist off my back I will just go on the generic Prozac

It looks like I will be taking a trial drug for about a year however, I will know next week
