don't know what to do - Depression Message Board

Recently my depressions gotten a lot worse,even though I've started taking anti-depressants again.I think I know what's causing it, my really good friend just got a brain tumor and if it gets worse she has to go through chemo and really difficult circumstances w/ my dad which I can't take any more.I'm thinking about going to court to not go w/ him anymore but I don't know.I really need help.Has anyone been in any of these situations and can tell me what to do,its really bringing me down.

Well, sweetie, sounds like you're dealing with a lot of crap.

So, are you thinking of trying to emancipate yourself from your Dad? Legally not live with him? What does he do to make things so bad? and how old are you, honey?

I'm very sorry about your friend. That's awful, but they can do as lot with brain sugery now- i have a friend who just had a mass taken out and he's doing very well!

Let's talk about you and your dad for a sec, though.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I am 15 and yes I am seriously thinking about and am probably going to court so I don't have to go with my dad.I just can't take it/him anymore, but if and when I do go to court I've basically just lost my dad forever,so I'm debating but I think I'm really ready to go to court.I'm glad your friend is ok.I hope my friend will be to.I could really use any ideas on whether or not to go to court or not.Thanks for caring.
