Does anyone go shopping to make themselves feel better??

Yikes! When I was at my worst with my depression I couldn't stop myslef, I racked up my credit card and i am still paying it off. It is only a temporary solution as soon as I got the items I purchased home, I would be online shopping for more!

Since I started Lexapro the shopping urge has reduced dramatically. I can't tell you the last time I was in a mall.

Like HolidayHirl, when I was feeling my worst was when I couldn't stop buying things. I was on **** all the time looking for stuff that I was convinced that I needed.

Yeah and it really works. Actually, I am out of debt now and can pay off my credit cards each month, but I still enjoy shopping therapy (mostly books and music).
