spur of the moment poem by me! - Depression Message Board

depression,
built from life's past agression,
my obession.... is now to die!

Lies, is all i hear... from one ear, and out the next,
for It'll be death to calm my soul, no more being vexed!

standing alone, with out noone to call my own,
my own doing have caused such fate!

now its to late, for me to associate with those I use to call my friends!
They have turned there backs, when my depression attacked,
they don't offer there hands for help,
so screw them all.. they can watch me die on the 12th!

the last breath i take,
will make sure that i never wake,
and hopefully st. peter opens the Holy gates,
so i can stand b4 my saviour jesus Christ who awaits!

but to die by suicide,
will prevent all this to arrise,
instead i may end up in hell,
to be stuck on tortured thoughts with continues my dwell,
so now i can care less and stay less obsessed.

but now I decide its time to rest,
lay this gun beside my bed,
and if i should die b4 I wake,
I pray the lord my soul he take!

What a terrible poem and way to be feeling right now. We all have major problems or minor problems but suicide is a permantent solution to a temporary problem. Life can get better. We all who are depressed have to look within ourselves and find the inner demons that make us depressed and act accordingly.
Please cheer up and get help. Do not kill yourself. It will get better.

THAT IS SOOO BAD THAT YOU FEEL THAT WAY. BUT YOU SEEM TO HAVE SOME TALENT IN WRITING. Does it help to write down your feelings? Don't despair , there is hope. Pleeeease, don't feel this way anymore. If I could take this off of you I would. I do understand how you feel though, I have felt like that a lot myself. I am on medication now and it has helped a whole lot.

i think killing yourself would just make things worse, anyway. i don't know what happens after you die, but i hear if you kill yourself you'll go to hell, where "the dead believe they're still alive and pray for death".......and that's pretty spooky......THEN how wil you get out? at least on earth we have a chance to right the wrongs, or even leave the past in the dust and start all over again......
