Has anyone tried taking Zoloft in the evening and if so how did it work?? I get so tired during the day and was wondering if this would work for me. Also, the dr wants me on trazedone for bedtime.
I've taken Zoloft months ago. Not anymore. Didn't agree with me. Doctor told me if i got tired from it to take it at night. If it kept me awake to take it in the morning. It was up to me. Also was on trazadone for a while but didnt' seem to work for me. Ambian CR is great though
After being used to Ambian 10 mcg(or whatever the measurement is), and then CR(that didn't keep me asleep more than 5 hours either at night after 4 months, my Nurse Practitioner put me on Trazadone(and it just didn't work), not sure if it's more than just rebound insomnia from Ambian or what. I'm just starting Zoloft too, and am going to take it early, like noon, before too long. As far as I know I can be on Ambian with it. I suspect I'm going to have to try Lunesta or some thing else that has a CR version and may give me more sleep than Ambian CR and then get off that later?
I take mine before I go to bed at night, I was on it twice before, i'm just starting my third time around. I always took it at night because it made me too sleepy if I took it during the day. It seems to help me sleep better. Hope this helps.
Hi, I take another SSRI, Celexa, but it is probably the same for all....the best time is at night because these meds can make you sleepy during the day. Good luck!
I was taking my Zoloft in the evening and my shrink said I should be taking it in the morning. I can't really tell if it made a difference because at the same time, my dose was gradually increased to 200 mg and added abilify also. I've noticed a substantial improvement overall - not sure if it's the increased zoloft, the abilify, taking pills in the morning or all of the above.
