Question New Warning for Effexor?
Hi, Still tapering so slow it isn't even funny but can't go faster. Renewed my 35 mg prescription and noticed a warning to not take during pregnancy because the infant could go through withdrawls after birth. I don't think this warning has always been there. Does that mean progress is being made with Wyeth owning up to the fact that they have created drug addicts?

It sure is beginning to sound that way. I doubt they will ever come out with a pure addiction warning though

I have been reading these posts and don't like what I keep hearing. I am on 150 mg. Effexor (along with other meds), and I wanted to eventually come off of it,but it isn't looking good. It's scary to see that so many people are taking such a highly addictive drug.
