| Re: if effexor is so bad, then why do phycatrists keep on prescribing them? if effexor is so bad, then why do psychiatrists keep on prescribing them?] I take Effexor. It's not so bad. I could probably do some research and it wouldn't shock me to find that Effexor is one of the most commonly prescribed AD's. Effexor and Cymbalta are the only two AD's that affect serotonin and norepinephrine. When my pdoc prescribed it to me, he did warn me about the withdrawals,,,,,and certainly Effexor is not the only med that causes painful withdrawal symptoms. |
