Xanax and decreased sex drive - Depression Message Board

I have been on Xanax, .5 twice a day for about a year, and I have noticed that I have been less interested in sex lately...has anyone else noticed this? I've searched around, and I have found that this one of the side effects. I do so love Xanax, but if it dulls my sex drive...I will give it up...I'm not the same lately, and I am seriously thinking about cutting down or cutting out the Xanax. Please share your experiences.

KittyLove, most anti depressants kill your sex drive.
I was on 200 MG of Zoloft and I had no libido.

Yes. Very much so. This class of drugs is bad for libido.... in my experience.
