I noticed it when I took Celexa... I'm on Zoloft now and don't notice that at all. That's about all I know... Good luck to you.

SSRI's do cause sexual side effects, BUT, they diminish over time. WHen I first started taking mine, it was awful, but after a while, things got a lot better. I've heard that about Wellbutrin, too...to me it was worth the sacrifice...
Well believe it or not I have been taking a half of an elavil at night to help with sleep and it increases mine somewhat. But this small dose has done nothing for my depression. It does make you a little tired.
Cymbalta has a low risk of sexual side effects. They always say that on the commercials I would see. I am on 60mg of Cymbalta and have not had any changes in my sex life. If anything it has improved since my mood has improved. The only bad thing is that my dose is a little high for me and I have been tired because of it, so I will be lowering it to 30mg so I have more energy. I have been a lot more relaxed since taking it though and don't worry so much and it hasn't given me any bad sexual side effects.
I'm thinking I may need to see my GYN doctor. I am on Cymbalta 60mg and Wellbutrin XR 150mg but once I started thinking about it the sex drive was gone before the anti-depressive meds.
i have been on zoloft for over 4 years and its not what me and my husband used to be like, but we are better now, i find that it helps in time, and also when you try to do new things too
