hi lilme, yes i do have the same problem. about two weeks before my period starts, my hormones are all over the place. but i must say, since i started this new med--lamictal, i've seen a bit of improvement there as well. i'm not holding my breath, but i am hopeful. i also get very bad migraines and barely drag myself anywhere. have missed quite a few days of work just because of that. yoga helps because it stretches the muscles of the body, with the different postures (but do NOT do the upside down postures!!!). i take acetaminophen for the menstrual cramps, and that helps a lot. for bloating, i take some other stuff (plus yoga really helps with getting rid of the extra gas, if you know what i mean). the more you move your body, as in the "cobra pose," the "downward dog pose," and other poses (look these up on the web) the more you'll stretch out the muscles, and the more the tension is likely to leave the body.
