Haha,
well he'll be fascinated to know that I actually went to high school with Bill Cowher's two eldest daughters, and in fact sat in front of the youngest of the two in my marketing class during senior year. And yes, I've seen Mr. Cowher, on a number of occasions. I also met Hines Ward, the MVP of super bowl XL, because I worked at a very popular movie theater where he went often. He drove a pretty tricked out Benz and I've served him popcorn before. I also have a picture of him on my phone from when I saw him at Subway this one time, lol.
I've got some peeps up at Duquesne, and just so all you New Yorkers out there know, it's Car-NE-gie, not CAR-negie. He was born in Scotland, but Andrew Carnegie lived in Pittsburgh and owned steel mills there for most of his life.
I used to go to Mr. McFeely's house when I'd trick-or-treat for Halloween (he's the "speedy delivery" guy from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, it was filmed in Pittsburgh) and I've been to Andy Warhol's high school once. What else? Hmmmm...
Oh, I think I know some people who work at the Heinz factory. And, OH! I live ten minutes from Theresa Heinz Kerry's house and I know exactly where it is. ;-)
We also got new baseball and football stadiums in 2001, and I was at the top of the USX tower (tallest building in the 'Burgh) when Three Rivers Stadium was imploded.
So that's pretty much everything on the list of my bragging rights for Pittsburgh. Now I have to prove my New Yorkness. It's hard work.
