I just found this website and would like to give a hello. I've been dealing with depression my whole life and was hospitalized in Oct. & Jan, which proved to be quite insightful. I've been in denial for so many years and am now trying my best to become more educated, looking to connect with others for support and just trying my best to be positive. I lost my last job due to being out too long so I'm taking this time to sort out my meds which I just recently took myself off of - I'm not the best patient! Lately I've been walking 4 miles a day which I find helps a lot, I do my best to get out of the house using any trick to do so. Most of the people in my life don't understand depression so it's somewhat of a relief when others do.
Welcome to the boards. Why did you take yourself off of the meds?

I am from Auckland New Zealand..trying to find out what is wrong with me..i have a itchy feeling in my chest, on the left side, and now down my left arm. it is weird.. I want to scratch it..but cannot, as it is inside my chest. My left arm also feels heavy at time..does anyone know what this can be?

Answer to trg247: It wasn't intentional at first ( at least not conciously ), I missed a couple of days accidentally then figured it wasn't doing anything so continued to miss. I've done this in the past and it probably has to do with my denial of needing to be on meds. In the meantime, I'm seeing a psychiatrist and he is changing my meds anyway. Don't ask me why I continue to do something I know is unhealthy b/c I can already feel myself crashing somewhat.

I have no idea what that feeling is; but I'm not liking the "itchy feeling" in the chest, and "on the left side" and "now down my left arm."
These symptoms warrant a trip to the doctor, IMO.
