How long have you been on Celexa? I was on Celexa without any sexual side effects and no weight gain. I am now on Zoloft and have gained 30 lbs and have no sex drive and am unable to have an orgasm. I am going to ask the doctor to put me back on Celexa, which had other side effects but not those.

Unfortunately, all the SSRI's (Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, Celexa, etc.) have sexual side effects to some degree. I had the same exact problem on Paxil and the doctor added Wellbutrin and I was fine after that, in that department anyway. However, I ended up with hair loss as a side effect of Wellbutrin. I HATE meds. I'm sensitive to side effects, though.

Just started Wellbutrin because of sexual side effects from Zoloft. My dose of Zoloft is high, however, (200 mg) so I think reducing my dose of Zoloft (or eliminating it) in addition to the Wellbutrin should get me back on track. I am able to orgasm, but sometimes it takes a lot of work. Sex drive is zero on the Zoloft, too......no interest, zero, zip, zilch.

For a couple of weeks celexa gave me the sexual side effect you mention but this soon went away and I was soon functioning fine again. You might have to wait a few weeks to see.
