I recently started taking 20 mg Prozac for depression/OCD. (I'm still in the first two weeks so its hard to tell whether or not its working; the first week was pretty rough though). I was wondering if anyone who takes Prozac, and exercises regularly - particulary weightlifting - has seen any changes with regard to the results -- muscle increase/decrease?
I exercise and lift weights regularly and I was on Prozac for eight years. I can't recall losing any muscle mass. However, be warned, Prozac does deplete protein and amino acids, so you should supplement with these.
