It made me depressed, dumb as a rock, also gave me eye problems (like sharp pain and double vision) and short term memory problems.
There are a mess of side effects associated w/ this drug. I had to be on it for epilepsy (and now I choose to pay for another anti epilepsy med as opposed to getting this for free. it was that damaging to me.). There are a ton of drugs out there for depression with less side effects.
Definitely research this drug before going on it. There are a few sites where you can actually read about people's experiences on Topamax and for what they were on it for. Some are pretty scary.
