I don't think it's known to slow your metabolism. I've been taking it a while and haven't noticed any changes.

Yes. That does not mean weight gain is inevitable, though. Many do not gain. Six months and beyond is the time to watch.......The worst offender is the tricyclic group of ad's. Metabolism may slow by upwards of 10% which is significant.

I would also like to know where the info is available. I was unaware that Prozac actually slows down the metabolism.
