Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline - 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453)
The Hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week . Please leave the subject of suicidal ideation off your messages. It is triggering to others that are barely holding on. Please use the word depression, instead. If you you have thoughts of suicide, you need LIVE help, now. No one on this website is qualified to help you. Do not try to handle suicidal thoughts by yourself. Please do not try to go it alone~
Get professionals involved immediately. People do know how to get you the help you need.
Don't give up asking for help. If you really don't plan to harm yourself, then still go to a professional and admit that you are anxious, depressed and/or stuck and don't know what to do to turn around some of the issues that have kept you there. If you are suicidal, right now, immediately call 911 if in America, or call a hospital, or call local police for emergency help.[/B] For the UK, the suicide prevention number is: 08457 90 90 90
Please feel free to talk about your depression, and let members here encourage you or help you with solutions to problems. But, the boards are NOT an appropriate place for posting that you want to die or threats to commit suicide, hurt others, or to hurt yourself. Such posts will be removed. They are inappropriate here. http://www.samaritans.org.uk/talk/home.html http://www.suicidology.org/crisis_centers_in_your_area.htm
