Hey, I guess you would call this depression. I have to take a sleeping pill to make me fall asleep. But, sometimes, most of the times I have a hard time getting up, like I feel as if I have not had no sleep when I had slept twelve hours sometimes, the other day I slept fourteen hours before I ever got up. I just don't understand it. And, then around five or so in the afternood I feel like a diferent person and I am happy. I wish I knew if this was due to depression.
Many mornings I am literally crying or on the verge on my drive to work. Life seems hopeless and I can't imagine gettingthrough another day. Once I get to work, I usually mellow out, but I can definitely relate to the morning depression thing.
I go through that especially these days of my life, ive' never gotten checked for depression, but i now somethings not right with me. Just make sure that when you get up in the morning tou always get ready first, don't sit around the house and mop, because it's easy to stay like.
I struggle EVERY morning to make myself get up and face the day. Sometimes I don't win the battle and end up missing work and sleeping most of the day. When I do get myself going, I am usually better - but never with that drastic of a difference where I feel like a different person. I would wonder if something else is going on - maybe related to blood sugar or something that varies throughout the day. I also thought about sleep apnea (which I've got) but that affects me all day, not just in the morning. (I can't get used to the machine used to treat the apnea because it makes me claustrophobic.)
yes I also have this problem , I wake up in the wee hrs of the night, everynight, can't fall back to sleep, and my mind is racing.
I start think of everything that has happened in my life(mostly bad)and my future
and just feel like ****.
I used to have morning depression. It's a blood sugar thing. I keep a small fridge in my bedroom and have some yogurt when I wake up during the night(usually 4:00am.) When I get up I'm feeling good, in fact morning is my most productive time of the day. Try it.
