To sspeedy

Hi there. I had been feeling tired all the time even after a long sleep it wasnt until I went to the doc had all the usual tests that she told me I was probably depressed. I dont know why I didnt think of it as I have chronic pain and a seriously ill niece who I constantly worried about. She told me lots of people dont realise it.

Hello, I'm in your boat, I still haven't really admited to myself that i am posably depressed, i know something isn't right. It's not that im ashamed to admit it, it's just that i guess i'm just waiting for it to go away on it's own. Ive been thinkin though and i think it's time i might try some meds.

Re: To sspeedy

Hi again, do you know of a possible reason that might cause your depression? I tried St Johns Wort first for 2 months as I hate taking drugs, I dont even take pain relief except when its bad I have a drink in the evening which helps. The St Johns did help my mood a bit but didnt help with the tiredness so I had to give in to the drugs. Good Luck.

Re: To sspeedy

Hi sspeedy, Even thought I am on paxil 20mg I still feel tired in the morning, I think my morning dose may take a while to kick in. I dont wake up feeling depressed either but my brain thinks otherwise. I see from another post that you are starting a new drug perhaps when you are used to it you may feel better.
