I have Major Depressive Syndrome and a serious case of Peripheral Neuropathy, which could be part of the Depression, since significant chronic pain is a part of it, (situationally based depression), but it isn't all of it I'm sure. I take lots of Meds, which I am not too thrilled about doing, but its just a part of it all I guess.
I see a familiar face or two here, from other places, and hope to get involved in some of the discussions shortly.
Hello Jolly Roger,
I too suffer from chronic pain and take lots of meds for it. I have depression and anxiety both. I take Remeron for the depression and xanax for the anxiety. Methadone for the chronic pain. The pain is from Pancreatitis. I got it a couple of years ago and man does it ever hurt. I'm in pain almost every day. It's no wonder I'm depressed. Anyways glad to have you aboard. Like I told Panzee if you need anything just ask and someone here will try to help you out. They are good people here so don't be afraid to ask questions. They have helped me alot. TA Ta for now.
Hi there,
I only found tis site just before Christmas ans it has helped a lot it's good to know that I am not the only one feeling like this.
And the major, super important question is......How do you get the waving hand, someone sent my hubby one with a light candle. Funnily enough I didn't ask her how she did it, too busy wanting to know why she'd do that. Depression and totally unreasonable, and a woman, not a good combination.
Talk to you soon
Jade
Hi there! You've got all our attention with the waving hand! Welcome to the group. I love coming here and I like to read about everyone. It's comforting to know you aren't alone with this illness. It's theraputic to read and empathize with others. It's also a good place to learn about meds and therapy. Look forward to reading more about you.
Like I said, glad to see all the new faces and animations we try to help each other here and sometimes we actually do.
I know I enjoy the group here and also at some of the other boards. Life is what you make of it...even if its difficult, keep trying.
Peace
What a great Welcome. Thanks everybody!
Funny panzee, looks like you signed in here with your intro just about the same time I did. Sure nice to meet you too.
Kyle, jade, SoLost, melody and TrickyDick, very encouraging words, and appreciated. I'm glad the mood here is so friendly, refreshing and helpful. Depression and pain are trying things to deal with from day to day for many of us, and sharing with other friendly folks of the same sort of complications, sure can be helpful.
The graphics thingy is not too bad for those who haven't done it yet, and want to. To me a pic doth truly paint 1000 words. Actually, I had a webpage set up for another similar board I was on, which discussed that (importing picz) in some depth. Maybe I should put it up again.
~Nanner!! I doubt that I know you natch, but your extensive graphic expertise is clear and almost familiar somehow! How are ya? Being a newbie too, let me just extend my welcome to you, and everyone who has recently signed in here.
It sure sounds like a great place so far.
My Best to all

But I don't think it's me.. At least I don't remember. Still it could be the meds..
