Disassociation or spacing out

Hi, I am spaced out alot, doctors call it disassociation; am i the only one that has this symptom? If you have it, what do you take for it? I want to go on an anti-depressant and i don't want one that will make the spacing out worse, i'm considering celexa...help if you can...thanx...have a good day.

Re: Disassociation or spacing out

The antidepressants work differently for each person. Some that are 'sedating' are not for all. See a good psych. I was on Celexa for four weeks. I had no side effects up to 20 mg. I tried 30 mg and became very agitated. This is just my experience. A good psych should be able to assist you with the 'right' med[s]. Good luck.
