Clouds--

Yes, we do have all those tacky Christmas songs down under. I am not against Xmas as such. I do not believe in God so I do not see it for the religious side, I am way too old to believe in Santa, so there goes that one, I only enjoy Xmas because it brings people, family together.

Re: bears sleep and hide in winter

Most of our songs, the well known ones, came from the US or the UK....we have a few Aussie christmas songs, they are great. We have some snow, but it is only in certain areas and is infrequent. Most of the country through this time of the year is hot. It was 40 deg yesterday, C not F. Great to have christmas in the pool.

Clouds--

I have never met Lara....at least I dont think I have. Aus is a pretty big place.

The coldest parts get to about -2C...apart from that...they are generally about 2C throughout winter.

About your computer...sometimes the screen changes colour because the link lead from the PC to Monitor is either not in properly or faulty. I hope it is one of these because it would be cheap for you.

Good luck
