Going to dr. this morning..........depression worse.
I have tried every single almost AD out their, and thinking about talking to my dr. about adding either Topamax or Lamictal @ a very low dose or starter pack to see if this will help the deep depression THAT is not going away.
I have read the Topamax CAN CAUSE DEPRESS but is used for depression? What?
Lamictal worried about the rash..........but like I stated.............I want just a tiny does if she will alloy it.......
Which one would you consider for deep depression? And yes, worried about the weight gain, too.
Just don't want to look stupid when I do see her this morning........already feeling shot down.
Please respond soon...........Please. I have to go soon.

Hi girlfriend.
She upped my dosage of Lexapro and put me on a low dose of Topromax to see if this helps with the depression. I sure hope so..........She said it is usually not used for that BUT HAS been prescribed it for that b4! So hopefully in a few days we shell see.
What do you think? I hope it works.........I am going to be positive......all I can do...........does not do any good to be negative.........right?

You never know, it might. I don't want to get you down.....I've been on Topomax for a diff condition for 6 years and it's never affected any of my BiPolar/Depression symptoms.

So far, so good. No really bad side effects on the low dose except maybe a bit tired............but hey, that is me anyway. I went for a job interview this morning.............EVERY ..................say a prayer for me..........K??????????????

GLad things are looking up... I am dealing with trying to get off a med but the Agitation and mood swings put me back on with side effects... This sucks!
