I have read your other posts regarding combos here are the antidepressants I have mixed over the years
Generic Effexor and brand Wellbutrin - my doctor refuses to prescribe generic wellbutrin
Generic Effexor and brand Cymbalta
Brand Pristiq and Brand Cymbalta - The people who use to make generic Effexor and it was switched over to a different company so my doctor made the switch from Effexor to Pristiq
I should note I also take antipsychotics as well which helps to level me out

I live north of the border so it is a bit different here. My drug plan covers Cymbalta as there is no generic. As for the Pristiq the local mental hospital gives me samples each month as the cost of the med is pretty high

If I wereyou I would ask the dr some some of her suggesstions AND then ask if she has any samples in theses medications as they are quite expensive with or without your ins and you will be SUPRISED how many drs. WILL give samples to those they know can't afford it and that the RX would play a huge part in your well being. PLEASE stay in touch and let us know how you are. Until next time TAKE CARE!!!
