Wellbutrin XR extremely tired & emotional

Hi! I'm new to this forum but have been lurking for the past few months
I was wondering if anyone takes Wellbutrin XR at night time instead of morning. It makes me emotional (crying all the time) and tired all day and around 5-6pm I get a huge burst of energy and motivation to finally get things done and I feel 'normal'. Ativan helped me with energy but quit taking it because I'm pregnant. Yes, Ativan gave me a huge amount of energy and motivation. It was nice! I know being tired goes with pregnancy but I was on Viibryd and everything was fine. The day I was switched to WB my mind has been a mess.

Re: Wellbutrin XR extremely tired & emotional

Hello canongirl.

I've always taken Wellbutrin in the morning. My doctor specifically told me to not take it at night time. What is your dosage for the Wellbutrin? My dosage has varied from 150mg to 300mg and it never made me exceptionally emotional or energetic at a specific time of the day.
